![]() So maybe the ones I saw on you tube were not marked correctly or made of spare parts? Anyone out there familiar with these. There is no mention in blue book as to which mags they use. In Blue book under commando arms, which they say is the new name for Volunteer enterprises (Knoxville, Tn) they are valued less than the listing under Volunteer Enterprises which they call the MKIII which is how mine is marked, the one under Commando arms says Mark 45. Some are called a MK 45, and one You tube video of that one shows it using a Thompson mag like mine. Some are called a MKIII like mine is, and they seem to be the ones that use the M-3 mags. What I have seen on You tube, shows some of them using Grease gun mags, those seem to have 1 feed ramp. A wood looking fingergrooved plastic pistol grip, and the wood grained plastic verticle foregrip. Apparently they made several versions of this carbine, Mine has a Thompson wood butt stock. and they work fine, I broke one of the lips off the end of the floorplate of one when putting it back together after cleaning them, still had some cosmoline in them. ![]() ![]() ![]() Have since fired another 50 rounds through her, out of the two new mags, GI surplus. Since I bought 2 more mags (mine uses Thompson mags), and after lightly touching the top of the round hole on the rear with a dremel, they worked fine. I recently purchased a commando arms MKIII 45, only after I loaded 30 rds in one mag, and 20 in the other and test fired it, it ran flawlessly.
